MVJH BULLDOGS VOLLEYBALL

I'm Coach Baumgartner, I was selected to coach this years 6th/7th and 8th grade girl's volleyball teams. I have 13+ years of competitive volleyball experience between playing and coaching.

 

I played Varsity volleyball from 2008-2010 at Mundelein H.S. receiving 1 Honorable-Mention selection in 2008, 2 All-Conference selections in 2009-2010, and 2 All-Area selections in 2009-2010.

 

I also played 4 years of collegiate club volleyball from 2010-2014 for Illinois State University.  During those years I was able to achieve 1 All-Conference selection and 1 All-American/1st Team National selection, while my team placed 3rd at Nationals for Men's DI Collegiate Club Volleyball.

 

 In 2013 I assistant coached at Illini Elite VBC in Central Illinois for one year.  In 2014 I was the head coach for Peoria Notre Dame Irish 18U Regional Club Team for their season.  My most recent position in 2015 was coaching for Rolling Thunder VBC in the NW Suburbs of Chicago for the 15U National Hawkeyes and the 16U Regional Silver teams. 

 

From August 2013 - December 2014 I was also selected by the Illinois State University Girls Volleyball Program to be a practice coach where I was able to participate and play against collegiate DI female athletes and learn valuable coaching experience from a coach who's team was seleceted to play in the National Tournament for DI Women's Volleyball.
